Jhikargacha Upazila is a sub-district of Jessore district in the upazila. This upazila has ancient traditions. The quality of life of people living in the upazila of Kobadok is better than the ancient times, but due to the flooding of the Kobadak river, the lower part of Jhikargachha is flooded due to the rainy season. This upazila is only 13 km from the city of Jessore. Is far away. The biggest land port in Bangladesh is to go through Benapole Jhikargachha.
